haii 5 charred oatmeal fans! i've returned to my abode with another life update
i haven't been up to much... like at all ;-; my life is possibly the most uneventful thing ever but it's okay im alive and i feel great(i feel awful but we ball)
first things first, music updates!! you'll never believe it but i have done absolutely nothing im so burnt out ðŸ˜. i've been trying to shift my focus onto other things but nothing seems to be helping my burnout and i feel like my only solution now is to just... let it pass naturally... which, the worst i assume it'd take is like half a year (bc that has happened before! i quit art for a good 6 months because i kept drawing for people for free and then this one person started blatantly using me for art and it burnt me out so bad that i still dont draw for other people to this day, and im also scared to start taking comms bc of it LMAO) but nothing can truly estimate how long it'll take because i could be inspired and making stuff tomorrow or even like an hour from now as far as i know
subconcious if u can hear me please i need to be productive
more on music (cause thats all my life is rn) i've been tempted to try out other daws (do not say fl studio or i will rip your guts out with my bare hands and record your screeches so i can use it for my next project)
one thing that has been calling out to me is ableton but im holding myself back and waiting until i can upgrade my pc to actually get it.. also until i can buy other physical equipment bc i feel like i'll need it if i wanna use ableton to its fullest
honestly not just daws i wanna find and use other methods of making music because yk ive been thinking maybe a shift of workspaces and like exposing myself to new things will spark something
but im not entirely sure what i'd do so idk im waiting til i can figure that out
anyway onto other projects!! the infamous "coffee shop" (infamous amongst like two people lol) is awaiting its birth
i want to put it out or even add more to it because its genuinely a really good project and also ive noticed people like my ambient projects a lot. ambient music is really fun to make, i like being weird and cryptic and hiding tidbits in them for my audio nerd kin to find. (here's ur reminder that bioaltera is packed with coded messages)
on the topic of bio while i was making it i had the grand idea to start an arg for something like an upcoming project someday because i love args!!! i love mystery and whimsy, i love the satisfaction of yk the clues falling into place and revealing the big picture
but im not sure how i'll pull that off yet

WHICH REMINDS ME I REALLY REALLY LOVE UTOPIA. i feel like it is suchhh a good album that often gets swept under the rug by most bjork fans esp the ppl who are only in it for debut-vespertine (all those albums are GREAT by the way im just saying utopia is a generally underrated album and i wish people appreciated it more.)
my favourite track is arisen my senses its so freaking good i cannot tell you the amount of times ive cried to it
i love how she expresses sexuality so gracefully on this project and i think more people should be open to the idea of sex and intimacy as an art and integral part of human nature rather than forcing it to be a taboo but hey thats just me
like when people think of sex its almost always in a "dont talk about that in public its rude" way despite it literally being the reason why we're alive like hello???
i also love that theres many ways of expressing sexuality like it doesnt have to be graceful and mystic u can be cunty too
